CONFERENCE
The Conference is an annual educational
event held in January and rotated between sites in northern, central,
and southern California. The program integrates research and
educational reports from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies.
Sessions focus on weed biology and
management techniques and laws and regulations appropriate for urban
and agricultural settings including: turf and ornamental sites, trees
and vines, agronomic and vegetable crops, industrial and aquatic sites,
forests, range and natural areas.
A general membership meeting and luncheon
are a focal point for recognition awards at the theme based conference.
Our membership includes pest control
advisers, public resource managers, and university and industry
scientists. Annual participation exceeds 900 and continuing education
hours are offered.
