CONFERENCE
The
Conference is an annual educational event held in January and rotated
between sites
in northern, central, and southern California. The program integrates
research and educational reports from academia, industry, and regulatory
agencies.
Sessions focus on weed biology and management techniques and laws
and regulations appropriate for urban and agricultural settings
including: turf and ornamental sites, trees and vines, agronomic
and vegetable crops, industrial and aquatic sites, forests, range
and natural areas.
A general membership meeting and luncheon are a focal point for
recognition awards at the theme based conference.
Our membership includes pest control advisers, public
resource managers, and university and industry scientists. Annual
participation
exceeds 900 and continuing education hours are offered. |
